Residents are still encouraged to make use also of alternate payment methods for their utility accounts such as water and electricity. The RLM has also been affected by the Covid-19, with cases recorded at the Main Municipal building. As a measure to comply with the gazetted regulations, and prioritizing the safety of our residents, alternate payment methods have been made available for use.

Municipal utility accounts can be paid via EasyPay which is a global digital payment service, accessible in most retail stores (see leaflet below). Consumers can make payments by using the provided EasyPay reference number to pay for traffic fines as well, or pay via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), stop order arrangements and direct bank deposits, using the details below:

Residents are should note that payment processed through the banking sector will clear after 24 hours with ABSA and 72 hours with other banks after payments have been recorded. Further to that proof of payment should be sent by email to djantjies@rustenburg.gov.za
