The Rustenburg Local Municipality has this morning called an urgent joint stakeholders meeting led by the Executive Mayor, Cllr Mpho Khunou accompanied by the Speaker of Council, Cllr Shiela Mabale-Huma and MMCs (Members Of Mayoral Committee) held at the Civic Centre.
The fundamental intend of this engagement is to establish a local joint operational committee comprising local key stakeholders so as to effectively deal with the COVID 19 (Corona virus) pandemic at local level.
Participating stakeholders at the meeting include, among others, sector departments, local taxi organizations, Traditional Authorities, and Pastors.
