RLM Successfully Completes Billing on a M-SCOA Complaint System – SAGE Evolution

The Rustenburg Local Municipality has successfully completed billing for July 2019 during mid-August 2019. This as the Municipality had migrated to a new and M-SCOA complaint regime – SAGE Evolution.  Statement of account have been emailed to residents with effect from the 15thAugust 2019. SMS were issued on the 19thAugust 2019 in the pursuit of employing various avenues for communicating with residents.
Delivery of accounts statements through the Post Office has been delayed due to technical challenges with printing of statements. However, the Municipality is looking at alternative means to physically deliver the statements. While we are aware that this may be an inconvenience, we request residents to be patient with the municipality in this regard.
Residents and businesses are also encouraged to visit our client services desk for printing of their statements.
A dummy statement is attached to provide explanation of various billing lines in your statements.

The Rustenburg Local Municipality hosts National Woman’s Month 2019 Activation event

The Rustenburg Local Municipality hosts National Woman’s Month 2019 Activation event led by MMC Joyce Mashishi- Ntsime on behalf of the Executive Mayor of Rustenburg Cllr Mpho Khunou:

Women in Law Enforcement take the bull by the horn at the activation of women’s month since this morning which involves planned activities as part of the day’s program.

The event forms part of road safety and law enforcement campaign which today involves the following:

– Multipurpose roadblock
– Mobile testing station
– Warrant of arrest execution
– Road Safety Campaign and awareness at the taxi rank
– Motorcade along identified routes in the city.

Participating stakeholders, amongst others, include Road Traffic Management Corporation, Traffic Police (National, NW Province, and Local), South African Police Service (SAPS), Cross Border Road Transport Agency, NW Community Safety & Transport Management, Sibanye Stillwater, and other departments and organs of state across the three spheres of government.
