Credit control in the municipal boundary is underway. Clients of Rustenburg Local Municipality who are indebted to the municipality for 30 days and above should expect one or more measures of credit control to be performed by the municipality.
It must further be noted that the municipal working hours for credit control and account payments are as follows:
Monday to Friday: 07:30 – 17:00
Saturday 08:00 – 15:00
Clients are required to bear in mind that direct bank deposits will reflect on the financial system in at least 3 (three) working days. Clients are encouraged to visit the municipal offices for speedy response to payments. Payments for reconnection must be received at least 30 minutes before close of business.
