TENDER: RLM/DLED/0081/2009/10:–DESIGN, COMPILE, LAY OUT, PRINT AND SUPPLY: THE RUSTENBURG LOCAL MUNICIPALITY WARD-BASED SMME BUSINESS DIRECTORY (the SMME Directory)

Tenders are hereby invited for the DESIGN, COMPILE, LAY OUT, PRINT AND SUPPLY: THE RUSTENBURG LOCAL MUNICIPALITY WARD-BASED SMME BUSINESS DIRECTORY (the SMME Directory).
Tender documents will be available from 11:00 on Thursday 06 May 2010 at the office of the Procurement Officer, First Floor, Room 103, Missionary Mpheni House, c/o Beyers Naude and Nelson Mandela Drive, Rustenburg, upon payment of non-refundable amount of R250.00 per bid document. Bank Guaranteed cheques must be made payable to the
Rustenburg Local Municipality.
Sealed documents, marked RLM/DLED/0081/09/10: DESIGN, COMPILE, LAY OUT, PRINT AND SUPPLY: THE RUSTENBURG LOCAL MUNICIPALITY WARD-BASED SMME BUSINESS DIRECTORY (the SMME Directory) must be placed in the bid box in the foyer of the Municipal Offices, Missionary Mpheni House, Beyers Naude Drive, Rustenburg not later than 11H00 on Tuesday, 25 May 2010 there after the bids will be opened in public at the municipal offices.
Please note that no bid documents will be given to couriers unless the courier is in possession of a letter on an official letterhead confirming on behalf of the company the full details of the specific bid/s to be collected as well as the payment of the full amount payable for bids required.
Bids may also be posted to the Rustenburg Local Municipality: Chief Financial Officer, P.O. Box 550, Rustenburg, 0300, to reach them before the above-mentioned date and time. The Council will not be responsible for bids received late.
The lowest or any bid will not be necessarily accepted and the Council reserves the right to accept the whole or part of any bid. Facsimiles or e-mail are not acceptable.
All bids will be evaluated in accordance with 80/20 preferential procurement point system.
Bidders will be required to show compliance with the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act. Bidders with HDI, especially local content, women, disabled and youth would serve as an added advantage. In case of a Joint Venture a valid Joint Venture agreement should be provided to the Rustenburg Local Municipality. Bids will remain valid for 90(ninety) days.
An updated record of payment of rates, taxes and services to the relevant Municipality must be attached. Failure to do so might invalidate the bid submitted
