QU/DFI/ 0084/2009/10: APPOINTMENT OF A CONSULTING FIRM FOR THE PRELIMINARY DESIGN OF WATER AND SANITATION DEPARTMENT OFFICES

Quotations are hereby requested for the APPOINTMENT OF A CONSULTING FIRM FOR THE PRELIMINARY DESIGN OF WATER AND SANITATION DEPARTMENT OFFICES for the Rustenburg Local Municipality.

Quotation documents including specifications can be collected on Tuesday, 23 February 2010 at 12h00 from the Procurement Office, Missionary Mpheni House/co Beyers Naude and Nelson Mandela Drive, Rustenburg, First Floor, Room 103.

The compulsory briefing session will be held at the Booster Pump Station on Friday 26th of February 2010 at 10h00.

The quotation together with the completed forms must be submitted in sealed envelope marked ” APPOINTMENT OF A CONSULTING FIRM FOR THE PRELIMINARY DESIGN OF WATER AND SANITATION DEPARTMENT OFFICES” and be placed in bid box situated in the foyer of the Municipal Offices, Missionary Mpheni House, c/o Beyers Naude and Nelson Mandela Drive, Rustenburg Local Municipality 0300, not later than 11 March 2010 at 10h00.

SPECIFICATIONS ARE AS FOLLOWS:

 

The following conditions will apply:

• Price (s) quoted must be valid for at least thirty (30) days from date of your offer.
• Price (s) quoted must be firm and must be exclusive of VAT.
• A firm delivery period must be indicated.
• Preferences are offered to tenders who are woman and Local content.
• This quotation will be based on the  framework Act (No 5 of 2000) and for this purpose forms MBD 2, MBD 4 and MBD 6.1 and Section 38 (Declaration Form) must be scrutinized, completed and submitted together with your quotation
• The successful provider will be the one scoring the highest points.
• No quotation will be considered from a person who is employed by the state.
• No quotation will be considered without a valid original SARS certificate.
• All documents must be completed in full and be submitted with the official quotation
• An update record of payment of rates, taxes and services to the relevant Municipality must be attached. Failure to do so might invalidate the quotation submitted.
• ECSA registration
• CK document must be submitted. Failure to do so might invalidate the quotation submitted.
