REHABILITATION OF VARIOUS RESERVOIRS AND PUMP STATION                                                                                                                                                                         

Quotation(s) of the above mentioned project must be submitted per reservoir stated below, on the letterhead of your business and prices quoted must be VAT exclusive. The reservoir’s are as follows:       
1. Safari Hotel Booster Pump         - QU/DI/0085/2009/10
2. Booster Reservoir                     - QU/DI/0086/2009/10
3. Safari Pumpstation                    - QU/DI/0087/2009/10
4. Half Million Reservoir                - QU/DI/0088/2009/10

Quotation documents can be collected as from Monday, 08th March 2010 at 11h00 from the Procurement Office, Missionary Mpheni House, c/o Beyers Naude and Nelson Mandela Drive, Rustenburg, First Floor, Room 103. 

The quotation together with the completed forms must be submitted in sealed envelope marked “Directorate: Infrastructure Development and Management: Name of the reservoir and the quotation number” and be placed in bid box situated in the foyer of the Municipal Offices, Missionary Mpheni House, c/o Beyers Naude and Nelson Mandela Drive, Rustenburg Local Municipality 0300, not later than 16th March 2010 at 11H00.

Compulsory briefing session will be at 10:00 am on the 11th of March 2010 at the entrance of RUSTENBUR LOCAL MUNICIPALITY.

The following conditions will apply:

  • Price (s) quoted must be valid for at least thirty (30) days from date of your offer.
  • Price (s) quoted must be firm and must be exclusive of VAT.
  • A firm delivery period must be indicated.
  • Preferences are offered to tenders who are woman and Local content.
  • This quotation will be framework Act (No 5 of 2000) and for this purpose forms MBD 2, MBD 4 and MBD 6.1 and Section 38 (Declaration Form) must be scrutinized, completed and submitted together with your quotation.
  • All quotation will be evaluated in accordance with the 80/20 point system
  • The successful provider will be the one scoring the highest points.
  • No quotation will be considered from a person who is employed by the state.
  • No quotation will be considered without a valid original SARS certificate.
  • All documents must be completed in full and be submitted with the official quotation.
  • An updated record of rates, taxes and services to the relevant municipality must be attached. Failure to do so might invalidate the quote submitted.
